About Us

The Ontario University Procurement Management Association (OUPMA) is a member based, professional development and networking organization, dedicated to promoting strategic sourcing and best practices unique to the post-secondary sector.

OUPMA is not a buying organization and does not enter into direct contracts with suppliers on behalf of OUPMA.  Each member is responsible for sourcing its own requirements but may, when feasible, allow for other OUPMA members to take advantage of their competitive bid contracts through the use of a collaborative clause within their documents.  The members are not obligated to use this clause in their documents nor are members obligated to participate in any agreement in which the clause was utilized.  Solicitations directly to OUPMA are discouraged.
